FDG Entertainment announced recently that it will bring at least two games to the Nintendo Switch. One of those games will be Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom.
According to a blog entry on the game, both graphics and music production are now in the final stages. We expect the game to launch in the first half of next year. This means that Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom could be one of the launch titles for the Nintendo Switch in March.
FDG Entertainment send out a tweet last week on the progress of the game. The tweet included the #NintendoSwitch tag (next to PS4 and XBoxOne), which to us now is a confirmation that Monster Boy is one of the few actually confirmed games for the Nintendo Switch.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is a ‘dream come true’ project for developer studio Game Atelier and publisher FDG Entertainment. It started all as a Kickstart project under the name ‘Flying Hamster’ but started to fly when Mr. Ryuichi Nishizawa came aboard. The game is now based on the legendary Wonder Boy in Monster World series by SEGA. It is a classic side scrolling action-adventure that is challenging users to explore a colourfull world with many locations and where you can fight many different enemies and end-bosses. Check the trailer for a good view on the game.
