The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was one of the few third party games in the spectacular Nintendo Switch anouncement. Publisher Bethesda however made an extraordinary claim today. It is not confirmed that Skyrim can be played on the Nintendo Switch. What… ??!!
“We are happy to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Nintendo on the video” a spokesman for Bethesda told GamesIndustry.biz. “While we are not confirming any specific titles at this time, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo and support of the Switch. We look forward to revealing specific games and details in the future”.
Somehow Bethesda does not want to immidiately confirm any game in development for the Nintendo Switch. It would be strange though if a game that is featured that prominently in the release video, would be absent from the game rostrum.
Nintendo was also quick to add: “Today’s video incorporated short glimpses of representative gameplay to demonstrate the liberating nature of the Nintendo Switch home gaming system”
We have to wait to see whether the short glimpses of representative gameplay means that it could be any other game similar to Skyrim. We will still add Skyrim as one of the potential games you can finally play on the go with the Nintendo Switch.
